Kathy's contribution toward the efficiency of our operations is highly valued and much appreciated.

Sue Odell
Sue Odell began doing legal secretarial work when she was in high school in Storm Lake, Iowa. Following her move to the State of Washington, she worked for a law firm in Tacoma. Sue, her husband Jim and their two daughters Holly and Kerry, settled in Snohomish County in 1976 and Sue began work at the law firm of Williams Novack and Hansen in Everett. She transferred to Mill Creek in 1985. Sue has been with our firm since it's inception and has developed a high degree of proficiency and professional pride as a legal assistant dealing with probate, bankruptcy and family law matters. Our law firm and our clients have been the direct beneficiaries of Sue's dedication to excellence.

Outside the office, Sue spends her free time with family and friends. For many years, Sue’s family and neighborhood have organized and perpetuated a dazzling neighborhood Christmas light display to raise both the holiday spirit and donations of food and money for the Volunteers of America.

Patty Sawyer
Patty grew up in Marysville, Washington and has been a legal secretary since the early 1970's. She joined the Everett law firm of Williams Novack and Hansen in 1976 and opened the Mill Creek office with Jeff Pratt in 1985. Since our firm began, Patty has been on the front line ably handling all incoming telephone calls, receiving all incoming clients, while at the same time assuming full responsibilities as a legal secretary to boot. Patty's superior people skills have made her an invaluable asset to our office.

In addition to her skills as a legal secretary, Patty has accumulated an endless wealth of unique and useful information about our region. For instance, if you desire to know where the best pickled herring or homemade sausage is to be found, ask Patty. If you wish to determine where to get the best buy on replacement wiper blades, the cheapest chuck roast or when and where clamming will be at it's best, Patty can tell you. Patty has little free time because she is always busy.

Helga Watson
Helga began her career as a legal secretary in the law firm of Sullivan Graafstra Twisselman and Dupuis in Everett, Washington in 1986. When Bill Sullivan joined our firm, he convinced Helga to accompany him. Helga's employment with our firm has been a windfall. She brings to her profession and to our firm, intelligence, organization and a strong work ethic. She is well recognized by firm members and clients alike as a "take charge" person who can always be counted upon to produce work of the highest quality.

Outside of the office, Helga is first and foremost a mother. She and her husband Bob are raising their two children, Grace (age 10) and Nicholas (age 8) and are very active participants in their church. When she is not with her children she is often with her sisters, who reside in the Puget Sound area.
