Karl Hausmann practices commercial, construction, and real estate litigation representing contractors, property owners, and businesses. He also handles probate and personal injury litigation.
Karl began his legal career at the Washington Attorney General’s Office, where he represented the Washington Department of Transportation (including Washington State Ferries), the Department of Licensing, and the Employment Security Department. He served as President of the Snohomish County Bar Association in 2011 and was a Council Member of the Washington State Bar Association’s Construction Law Section. Karl was a co-author of the WSBA’s Model Residential Construction Contract.
Karl is past Board Member of the Mukilteo Schools Foundation, a Past President of the Everett Port Gardner Rotary Club. Karl currently serves as an elected Director of the Mukilteo School District.
Karl earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and his law degree from Seattle University School of Law. Outside of work, he enjoys long-distance gravel biking and has completed rides in Washington, Oregon, and Montana. He is also a proud member of the Old Guys Ride Every Saturday (OGRES) mountain biking group.
